Orange Kiss
At the end of Melbourne’s metropolis is a steep incline of hills which lead to the valley before rising up again at the Dandenong Ranges. The downdraft of warm air meets the valleys cold air and creates such skies with Stratus, AltoStratus and Nimbostratus cloud formations.
When the sun hits these cloud banks we have and Orange Kiss of light across the sky for just a few moments.
